Used to be a TV producer at the Beeb. Got some awards for educational programmes that no one else wanted to do and not many ever saw.
Now known in the parish magazine as a ‘local playwright’. Wrote a lot of so-called community plays about Windsor’s history, all performed in the town by am-dram enthusiasts and locals dragged in off the street.
Thanks to loads of people in the cast the plays got good audiences and even made a profit.
Developing poetry and short story writing as well. Joined Slough Writers in 2004. Developed a line in Old Git Lit. Likes deadlines and a bit of competition.
Says life’s not worth living if you stop learning.
